An educational park<\/b> around water! On the heights of the village of Avize, the Vix park offers spectacular views<\/b> of the vineyards of the C\u00f4te des Blancs and the plain. A place for walking and great serenity<\/b>, located in a forest clearing, it features various ornamental ponds fed by an ancient spring. A water sculpture<\/b> refers to Champagne, white bubbles float on a water mirror in a shape representing a flute.
Ideal for families <\/b>with its activities: interpretation trail, illustrated panels on the theme of water, activity terminals (create an ephemeral work of art or play with contrary adjectives …), outdoor musical instruments …<\/p>

    Water is everywhere on the site, but in summer it is discreet… No wonder: a wetland is not necessarily flooded or waterlogged all year round!
    Cultivated in places and shaped by the hand of man<\/b>, this meadow, flooded in winter and lush in summer, nestles in the hollow of the Marne valley<\/b>, giving pride of place to local biodiversity, with its marsh iris, rushes and reeds.
    The Jardin Humide is also an interpretation trail<\/b> that you can follow along a wooden pontoon, providing information about the flora and fauna of this 3.5-hectare area.<\/p>

      Make the most of the river… right down to the water’s edge, while respecting its fragile natural character, thanks to the layout that encompasses the Rivi\u00e8re des Tarnauds and its water pocket: wooden elements (platforms, pontoon and benches) and areas planted with native species allow you to enjoy this ancient ford<\/b> that used to allow herds to drink and cross the watercourse.
      These river banks, marsh areas and riparian vegetation<\/b> have a natural richness linked to the humidity of the floods and the nearby water table.

        Right in the heart of the pretty village of Pierry, you can relax and play by the water<\/b> in this 5,000 m2 landscaped public garden, offering a variety of atmospheres and surprises<\/b>: grassy areas, stopping points, perspectives, more intimate areas… and a lovely view of the Aulnois estate, a winegrowers’ residence built at the end of the 18th century and listed as a Historic Monument.

          Boasting a privileged position on the edge of a plateau, the Toulon-la-Montagne nature halt offers panoramic views of the bell towers of the villages of Congy, F\u00e8rebrianges, Etoges, Beaunay, Loisy-en-Brie, Souli\u00e8res and Toulon-la-Montagne.<\/p>

          The diversity of the planting makes it an ideal place to stop and explore: forest, orchard, loose hedges, meadow and lawn.<\/p>

          Once you’ve feasted your eyes, let yourself be tempted by the fruit you can pick from the branches of the apple and pear trees. You can enjoy them under the pergola, which itself supports the vines of the actinid tree, from which you can pick kiwis in autumn. <\/p>
